Log burner ban!
Log burners are cleaner burning than open fires and bonfires. The government would have to ban open fires in homes before it could ban wood burners in homes. All forms of heating, be it gas, oil, elcetric, wood or solid fuel, come with an environmental cost but we need heating to stay alive. New housing in Scotland will be built with energy saving technology and won't need additional heating, unless you have a unreliable electricity supply, and then you can have a wood burner. With over 10 years of installation experience we are skilled at fitting stoves from manufacturers such as Arada, ACR, AGA, Beltane, Broseley, Charnwood, Carron, Dovre, Ekol, Esse, Flavel, Hamlet, Hunter, Stovax, Mazona, Mendip, Parkray, Villager, Yeoman and many more. We also have been using a woodburner of our own at home over this time and even had one in the garden for a couple of years!
Unlike the bigger showrooms who are not interested in any building work involved, we can help you from conception to installation of your woodburner project. We will give you set dates for our visit(s) rather than a rough guide, Unlike other installers and will sweep the chimney during installation, a legal requirement, so that you don't have to organise one at the last minute.

Book a site survey
If you live within 12 miles of Hitchin, Hertfordshire you can arrange a site survey for your woodburning or multi-fuel stove installation. We will arrange an appointment when we are next in your area and send you an estimate for the work via email.
Customers that live further than 6 miles from Hitchin, will be charged for the survey service which we will refund to you if you go ahead with the quotation. Our quotes are valid for 60 days. Click to read our other Terms and Conditions.
